Three steps. Seven days.
Then dinner.
No apps. No knobs. No learning curve. The box knows.
Add water
Fill the reservoir once. The clear level window shows when you need to refill — about every 7 days.
Drop in a log
Slot a fresh mushroom log into the tray. The box reads the QR on the log and auto-tunes to that variety.
Press one button
Touch the start button. Walk away. The chamber handles every climate variable until harvest.
Days 0 to 7, every hour calibrated.
The box runs a different climate recipe for each variety. Here's the recipe for Shiitake — by far our most grown log.
Watch it grow.
You press start
The box logs the variety, sets the climate, and enters fruiting mode. You fill the reservoir once.
Substrate wakes
Mycelium threads reach toward the surface. The substrate temperature stabilizes at 22°C.
Cold shock
A controlled 6-hour drop to 16°C triggers the mycelium to shift from vegetative to fruiting mode.
Primordia form
Tiny pin-like primordia appear at the surface. The light spectrum shifts to fruiting wavelengths (3500–4500K).
Pins develop
The pins elongate into recognizable mushroom shapes. The air circulates on a negative-pressure cycle to keep spores contained.
Cap forms
Caps open. The cluster fills out. This is also when the box pulls humidity to 95% to lock in moisture.
Final push
The cluster gains 30% of its final mass in 24 hours. You can smell it before you open the door.
Harvest
Pull the cluster. Cook within 180 seconds. Taste the difference.
